By the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • Understand the current state of the opioid epidemic in the United States
  • Appreciate the importance of the opioid exposure in elevating risk of future substance use disorders
  • Understand the importance of minimizing exposure to opioid-naïve individuals in curbing the opioid epidemic
