Speaker: Sora Park Tanjasiri, DrPH, MPH

Dr. Tanjasiri is a Professor in the Department of Health, Society and Behavior in the Program in Public Health at UC Irvine, and Associate Director of Cancer Health Equity and Community Engagement in the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UC Irvine. Her research focuses on community health promotion to reduce cancer health disparities among diverse populations, particularly Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Her work applies community-based participatory research (CBPR) to tobacco prevention and cessation, cancer early detection, and survivorship.
