Featured Speaker: Dr. Kim Rhoads, MD, MS, MPH
Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, UCSF

Dr. Rhoads previously served as the Associate Director for Community Engagement and Director of the Office of Community Engagement, UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC).

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the history of Umoja Health, from CAB to United in Health Franchise for COVID and back eventually back to cancer
  • Highlight key factors that contributed to the success of Umoja Health in impacting population level outcomes
  • Discuss sustainable efforts to reduce the burden of cancer through meaningful community engagement
