About this Event
Do you ever just…need a minute? Have you felt like the “go to” person on a professional team or at home? Do you keep thinking about ways to problem solve issues long after others have given up?
Well…then you might be a highly skilled person who is also at high risk for burnout, especially during this time of year. Being excellent doesn’t have to include burnout.
Psychological research and common sense generally agree that taking a little extra time for ourselves during times of stress can drastically improve our experience of individual and interpersonal wellbeing. Please join us for a free lunch-time immersion webinar on Burnout & Boundary Setting, as we collectively embark on the post-election holiday winter season.
This month’s Mental Health Webinar will utilize empirically reviewed psychological theory and skills focused on enhancing our effective preparation and communication of personal limits during the post-election holiday season, including:
1. Reviewing common myths about burnout & boundary setting
2. Considering what circumstances allow us to be most effective
3. Exploring skills designed to help us better utilize our skills at home and at work
4. Creating an individualized plan for preparation, integration, and pre-/post-holiday interactions
