The Bruce O. Berg Child Neurology Lecture, hosted annually by the Division of Child Neurology at UCSF, honors the legacy of Dr. Bruce Berg, the founder of the division, who passed away in 2016. Originally established to recognize senior investigators in the field, the lecture now celebrates rising stars who are pioneering fresh, innovative directions in child neurology. Each year, the division nominates and elects a distinguished lecturer to present during one of the UCSF Department of Neurology’s grand rounds.
