Do you spend years endlessly researching, writing and then going through the often painstaking process of submitting your work to a journal with the intention to share your work broadly, only till then just hope it reaches the rest of the science community to make an impact? What if you could take your work one step further and use strategies that harness the power of communications and the media in order to not only more directly and quickly reach fellow researchers, but to also educate the public and policymakers to effect real change as the result of your findings? Social media and public relations offices can seem daunting after the agonizing hours you spend working, but armed with basic information and strategies, taking your science to the next level can be a piece of cake.

Please join us and three media and communications experts on Thursday, October 21st at 1 pm PST/ 4 pm EST for Beyond Journals: How to Leverage Media & Comms to Elevate Your Work.
