 s a landmark one for breast cancer at ASCO\, with several potentially prac
 tice-changing studies unveiled. This year’s American Society of Clinical
  Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting brought a wave of new and potentially prac
 tice-changing findings in breast cancer care. ASCO is the world’s leadin
 g professional organization for physicians and oncology professionals\, an
 d its annual meeting is where groundbreaking research is shared and discus
 sed by experts from around the globe.\n‌\n‌At this forum\, we welcome 
 members of our UCSF Breast Cancer Faculty on the panel—Jo Chien\, MD\, M
 ichelle Melisko\, MD\, Laura Huppert\, MD\, Hemali Batra-Sharma\, MD\, and
  Rita Mukhtar\, MD—who will guide us through key findings\, share expert
  insights\, and help us understand what these developments may mean for pa

 =-=-=- \nThe UCSF Breast Care Center hosts a bi-monthly Bay Area Breast Ca
 ncer Forum at which health experts explore the latest developments and adv
 ancements in breast cancer research. The forum\, organized by Melody Gawli
 u\, provides an excellent venue for our patients and their families to gat
 her new information about topics related to breast cancer and breast healt
 h.\n\nForum nights are designed as casual events.  Past forum topics have 
 ranged from hormone therapy and reversing hormone resistance to decision-m
