The UCSF Breast Care Center, under the direction of Dr. Hope Rugo, hosts a bi-monthly Bay Area Breast Cancer Forum at which health experts explore the latest developments and advancements in breast cancer research. The forum, organized by Melody Gawliu, provides an excellent venue for our patients and their families to gather new information about topics related to breast cancer and breast health.

Forum nights are designed as casual events.  Past forum topics have ranged from hormone therapy and reversing hormone resistance to decision-making and breast cancer survivorship. Here is a link to podcasts that have been recorded from prior forums events: http://cancer.ucsf.edu/forum
