The UCSF Asian Pacific American Systemwide Alliance (APASA) is delighted to present a webinar on Asian American Building Anti-Racism by Dr. Kim Tran to kick off May's celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This event is open to all.
Kim Tran, PhD, is an equity strategist for grassroots and transformative justice organizations including ACLU, National Center for Lesbian Rights, W.K. Kellogg Foundation. She will be covering the following topics in her webinar:
- How Asian Americans can have a brave & meaningful conversation around race
- How internalized racism manifests in families, communities, and culture
- Basic context and knowledge of how to engage and empower allies and advocates
