Please join us via Zoom at the Anti-Racism Town Hall on Thursday, September 22, from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
We will discuss updates from UCSF's Anti-Racism Initiative; we'll address the initiative's Pillar 1 — Climate & Safety — as it relates to updates regarding police and security and UCSF Climate Survey results.
Guest speaker: Dr. Tricia Rose, Chancellor's Professor of Africana Studies, Associate Dean of the Faculty for Special Initiatives, and Director of the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America at Brown University. Dr. Rose, a renowned scholar on various topics relating to race in America, will discuss why culture and climate in anti-racism matter and how it connects to UCSF's anti-racism and DEI work.
