UCSF Healthcare Advocates for Social Justice invite you to join us on Tuesday, June 8th at 4:00 PM for a discussion called “A Simple Practice for Healing” via Zoom. The talk will feature Millana Snow, Healer and Founder of Wellness Official, an organization with a mission to democratize wellness and strives to make the space more inclusive and accessible, highlighting diverse practitioners and celebrating the lineages from which modern-day wellness practices came. It utilizes a community-centered approach to curate judgement-free, accessible wellness content online and in-person.

You can register for the panel discussion here and learn more about Millana and Wellness Official by going to WellnessOfficial.com. To collaborate or donate with a local wellness organization for underserved communities, please visit freedomcommunityclinic.org.

This event was planned by a diverse group of UCSF staff who organized in response to the ongoing racial injustices. The goal of the UCSF Healthcare Advocates for Social Justice monthly speaker series is to promote critical thinking and action around intersectional structures of power, privilege, and racial oppression in clinical care, education, and beyond. We will continue to highlight the efforts of community antiracism activists.

All the best,
