University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

Please join UCSF Chancellor Sam Hawgood and experts for a special town hall discussion on the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which is likely to overturn Roe v. Wade, and how we are responding at UCSF.

Although abortion will remain legal in California, it is anticipated that access to care will be severely restricted in as many as 26 states.

Speakers will briefly discuss the potential impact of the decision on each of UCSF's mission areas, including care delivery, education, research, and advocacy, as well as how faculty, staff, and learners may be affected and can get involved. Participants will be invited to ask questions of the experts during a Q&A session at the end.
