The academic medicine environment creates unique challenges and opportunities in team functioning and leadership. This workshop addresses these through small group work and role play, identifying and building on participantsâ individual strengths as leaders. The workshop will offer insights into understanding team dynamics. Both emerging and established leaders are welcome. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Describe strategies to build and maintain a productive, inclusive and collaborative team working environment
Set personal goals for applying the skills learned in this workshop to one's own setting
