Did you know that yoga and meditation have been found to reduce depression, symptom severity, and fatigue, as well as increase overall quality of life in people with brain tumors? Join us for our January webinar, as we start the year out with a focus on tuning up our holistic health: mind, body and spirit! Michele Diaz Nelson, RN, MS, PhD, will discuss her work using yoga with patients with brain injuries, and Kat Shotz, MFT, yoga practitioner and Thriver living with brain cancer, will discuss the healing benefits of yoga in her life. All are invited to stay for our After the Show segment, to participate in a gentle seated yoga practice led by Marie Goodell, C-IAYT, 500 EYT.

About the Presenter
Michele Diaz Nelson, RN, MS, PhD, Neurotrauma Outcomes Coordinator at ZSFG, provides outpatient follow-up care to adults with brain injury.
