University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

Online Zoom program, with Valeria Galetto, PhD

If you have received a cancer diagnosis, you know the emotional part can take a toll on you. Research shows that if you learn how to manage your stress and anxiety, you can improve your quality of life and become an active participant in your own recovery and survivorship.

This program is based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a therapeutic combination of mindfulness meditation, gentle yoga, and simple practices designed to let go of fears and concerns and focus on getting well.

Please plan to attend all nine sessions (8 Wednesdays and 1 Sunday). This program is open to all UCSF and non-UCSF cancer patients and survivors.

No cost, but space is limited so please pre-register online or by phone at 415-885-3693.
