We are launching the 2026-2027 year of the CHANGE SF mental health workforce development program for San Francisco City and County youth. We are seeking UCSF faculty, trainees, and staff to mentor for this cohort, which will begin on Monday, November 2, 2026.

CHANGE SF is a collaboration between the UCSF Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, San Francisco Human Rights Commission, and the Opportunities for All (OFA) Initiative to provide mental health workforce opportunities for high school and college students in SF City and County.

We are seeking approximately 5-8 CHANGE SF mentors for this year.  All those interested in learning more about this unique departmental opportunity are invited to join us for a DPBS CHANGE SF Mentor Session. This session will be held virtually using Zoom. We welcome prior and new mentors to sign up!

During this meeting, we can provide you with more details related to being a mentor in the program, and will hold a Q&A session, so that everyone can feel more fully informed in the final decision-making.

If you cannot attend but wish to learn more, please feel free to send someone in your place. We will also make a recording of the meeting available.

Thank you, and we look forward to collaborating with you on CHANGE-SF!
