Ketamine Treatments of Neuropsychiatric Disorders: What We Have Learned From Over a Quarter Century of Experience

Learning objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the rationale underlying and history of the development of ketamine as an antidepressant agent
  • Better critically evaluate the longer-term data associated with thte use of esketamine nasal spray for major depressive disorder
  • More fully understand the complex contextual issues that complicate the study and clinical implementation of ketamine and other rapidly acting antidepressant agents.
