DESCRIPTION:This 3-hour hands-on workshop is designed to provide faculty an
 d staff with baseline understanding of digital accessibility requirements 
 and provide them with basic skills to create learning materials that meet 
 WCAG 2.1 A & AA standards across platforms and applications. The session w
 ill begin with a brief overview of ableism\, disability in higher educatio
 n\, and resulting legislation. Participants will then learn to apply found
 ational digital accessibility practices in real time using built-in and th
 ird-party tools.\n\nTarget Audience: This session is open to faculty\, sta
