About this Event
This 3-hour hands-on workshop is designed to provide faculty and staff with baseline understanding of digital accessibility requirements and provide them with basic skills to create learning materials that meet WCAG 2.1 A & AA standards across platforms and applications. The session will begin with a brief overview of ableism, disability in higher education, and resulting legislation. Participants will then learn to apply foundational digital accessibility practices in real time using built-in and third-party tools.
Target Audience: This session is open to faculty, staff, and residents.
