Please join us for a reception honoring this year’s recipient of the Elliot Miller Award for Compassionate Care in Hospital Psychiatry. Lunch will be served on the Pritzker Building’s 4th Floor Garden Terrace immediately following the presentation of the award during the November DPBS faculty meeting.
 
About this award
The Elliot Miller Award for Compassionate Care in Hospital Psychiatry was established in 2025 to recognize faculty psychiatrists who demonstrate exemplary compassionate care of patients and their families within hospital settings at UCSF-affiliated facilities. It is endowed by the Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute Director’s Discretionary Fund and annually awards $1000 and a certificate to a single recipient.
