A Developmental Science Perspective on Anxiety, Depression, and Loneliness in Adolescence: Leveraging Windows of Opportunity for Positive Impact

Learning objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify three developmental processes that occur in adolescence relevant to behavioral and emotional health
  • Describe how these processes can contribute to risk for disorders are more likely to emerge in adolescence
  • Identify promising approaches for early intervention based on modifying aspects of these risk factors and developmental processes
