We are in our fourth year of the CHANGE SF mental health workforce development program for City and County of San Francisco youth and are seeking UCSF faculty, trainees, and staff to mentor during the 2025-2026 year (which will begin on Monday, December 1, 2025). CHANGE SF is a collaboration between the UCSF Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, UCSF Transfer Preparation Program, San Francisco Human Rights Commission, and the Opportunities for All (OFA) Initiative to provide mental health workforce opportunities for high school and college students in San Francisco.

We are seeking approximately 8-10 CHANGE SF mentors for this year.  All those interested in learning more about this unique departmental opportunity are invited to join us for a DPBS CHANGE SF Mentor Session on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 11:10am-12:00pm. This session will be held in a hybrid format, and you can join in person at the Nancy Friend Pritzker Building (PB-1414) or virtually using Zoom. We welcome prior and new mentors to sign up!

During this meeting, we can provide you with more details related to being a mentor in the program, and will hold a Q&A session, so that everyone can feel more fully informed in the final decision-making.

If you cannot attend but wish to learn more, please feel free to send someone in your place. We will also make a recording of the meeting available.

Thank you, and we look forward to collaborating with you on CHANGE-SF!
