DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to the first DPBS Writing Research
  Retreat.\n\nWe will be meeting at the lovely Aldea Center\, nestled in Mt
 . Sutro forest\, with a spacious conference room with windows\, many outsi
 de writing areas\, and nearby hiking trails. If you are interested\, pleas
 e RSVP ASAP to anna.ardieta@ucsf.edu. We have limited spots and are making
  lunch reservations.\n \nYou can use the time how you would like and we wi
 ll offer some optional structure. This retreat will include a group check 
 in\, some practices for promoting focus and creativity\, plenty of silent 
 writing time\, and optional collaborator writing/discussion time at the ou
 tside tables. You may want to use this time for creative writing\, papers\
 , or to brainstorm about new grants\, aims\, and funding sources.\n\nWe ho
 pe to open up future writing retreats to all department researchers\, incl
 uding staff\, but this inaugural writing retreat is just for research facu
 lty. \n\nPlease join and invite your collaborators!\n\n----------\n\nThis
