Eating Disorders in Transgender and Gender Diverse Youth

Learning objectives:
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • Identify increase prevalence of eating disorders in transgender and gender diverse youth
  • Discuss clinical presentations of eating disorders in transgender and gender diverse youth
  • Discuss unique medical considerations for transgender and gender diverse patients
  • Identify at least two gender-affirming medical interventions that may imact eating disorder symptoms
