University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

We are excited to invite faculty, trainees, and staff to an upcoming information session about the opportunity to mentor the 2025 cohort of CHANGE SF interns.

CHANGE SF, a DPBS workforce development program, is conducted in partnership with San Francisco’s Opportunities for All Initiative to support the next generation of behavioral health professionals. This year, we are also partnering with the UCSF Transfer Preparation Program to engage talented City College of San Francisco (CCSF) students as they gain valuable skills and experience before transferring to the UC system.

Why become a CHANGE SF mentor?

As a CHANGE SF mentor, you will:

  • Guide CCSF students as they develop essential skills and explore career paths in behavioral health
  • Directly contribute to our shared mission of advancing health equity and shaping future professionals in our community

What to expect from the session:

  • A detailed overview of the mentor role, program expectations, and timelines (anticipated start date: January/February 2025)
  • Insights from past mentors, illustrating the program’s impact and the value of mentorship
  • Dedicated time for questions to ensure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision

If you would like more information or have any questions, please contact Hannah Behrendt at hannah.behrendt@ucsf.edu. Thank you for considering this opportunity!
