  • Recognize the Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) ‘Diagnosis Gap’ and appreciate why it is relevant
  • Feel empowered to advocate for BPD diagnosis and psychoeducation for appropriate patients and their families and explain at least three established and possible benefits
  • Connect common barriers to diagnosing BPD with strategies to address them through your role as clinician and advocate in the systems you work in

  • Discuss one way to apply lessons learned in global mental health prevention research to youth populations in California
