University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

Please register for our Gender Equity Town Hall on February 15, 12:10 to 1pm (lecture) and for those interested in joining the DPBS task force on gender equity, we’ll have an informal conversation from 1pm to 1:30pm. This is a virtual zoom-only meeting.

Our featured speaker will be Amy Diehl, PhD, researcher and co-author of "Glass Walls: Shattering the Six Gender Bias Barriers Still Holding Women Back at Work." This town hall builds on the Gender Equity Accountability Group series in the department that began in the fall. We may have extra copies of the book to borrow for those who were not able to join the monthly discussion groups.

Amy Diehl, PhD, is an award-winning information technology leader and gender equity researcher who has authored numerous scholarly journal articles and book chapters. Her writing has also appeared in Harvard Business ReviewFast Company, and Ms. magazine. "Glass Walls" is her first book. She is also a sought-after speaker, consultant, and lawsuit expert witness.

This event is open only to Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences faculty, staff, and trainees.
