Trust Within the Learning Environment

Learning objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • List the five learner factors that enable entrustment with patient care activities
  • Describe learner experiences with entrustment, including over- and under-trust
  • Explain how learner trust in the learning environment can bring forth both desirable and undesirable learner behaviors
