Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify five ways vision is integral to typical development
  • Review common causes of visual impairment in children
  • Examine mental health outcomes in individuals with visual impairment
  • Name three ways a mental health provider can help mitigate mental health problems in kids with visual impairments
