Learning objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Comprehend the basic vocabulary of clinical reasoning so as to better communicate with UCSF medical students
  • Evaluate the problem representations and illness scripts when demonstrated by trainees using general principles for the evaluation of each component
  • Assess the schemas and prioritized differential diagnoses as part of trainees' clinical reasoning


Intensive Services Grand Rounds presentations are for educational purposes and intended only for behavioral/mental health professionals and clinical providers.

Continuing education (CE) credit is available for physicians, psychologists, nurses, and therapists who participate in this activity.
