Learning objectives:
At the end of this presentation, learners will be able to:

  • Identify risk factors included in a risk score calculator found to predict depression risk in adolescents in different parts of the globe
  • Describe patterns of brain function associate with depression and risk for depression in a sample of adolescents from Brazil
  • Describe how these patterns of brain function are similar to or different from patterns of brain function observed in American adolescents
