We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Joe Giacino, a leading expert from Harvard University on the development and application of novel assessment and treatment methods for individuals with severe acquired brain injury (ABI) and disorders of consciousness (DOC), will be our keynote speaker, as well as multiple of our esteemed UCSF faculty. This event is designed to bring together professionals from the ICU and emergency departments to discuss the latest advancements and best practices in neurotrauma care. It is a full-day program with an audience made up of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and rehab specialists. The symposium will feature expert speakers, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities to enhance collaboration among healthcare providers, as well as breakfast and lunch.THe goal is the ongoing improvement of care for neurotrauma patients in the Bay Area.
