From Policy to Solidarity: Strengthening Immigrant and BIPOC Mental Health in a Shifting Landscape

We are honored to have experts from different communities examine the implications of recent immigration policies on BIPOC, immigrant, and refugee communities. Through speaker presentations and a panel discussion, we will learn how shifting policies have created new mental health challenges and barriers to care--as well as learn culturally responsive strategies and actionable tools to support these communities as mental health practitioners.  We will conclude with a reception with food and light refreshments provided.

This is a collaborative event organized by Psychiatry Residents from UCSF and Kaiser Oakland and co-sponsored by the UCSF DPBS Vice Chair for Diversity and Health Equity and NCPS.

We would greatly appreciate your completion of this RSVP form by Monday, April 7 to help us plan for the appropriate number of attendees.
