About this Event
Curry International Tuberculosis Center (CITC) will co-host the UCSF World TB Day Symposium with the UCSF Center for Tuberculosis. The theme for this year's event will be: The Many Faces of the TB Community: Partnership between patients, researchers, and advocates. The program will feature keynote talks and panel discussions by local and international leaders in TB research, policy, clinical and programmatic practice, and advocacy. This event will virtually connect with World TB Day events in London.
Enrollment is limited and pre-registration is required. To register for either in-person or virtual participation, please apply. Note that you will be asked to log in if you haven't already done so. Applicants will be informed of their enrollment status within a few days of the application deadline.
In-person participants will be informed about current UCSF COVID-19 policies and procedures closer to the time of the event. Thank you for your patience as COVID-19 protocols are dynamic and frequently updated by UCSF.
Registration Deadline: February 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time or until capacity is reached.
Cost: There is no fee for this event. Lunch will be provided for in-person participants.
Credit: CME and Nursing CEU credits are not available for this event.
Target Audience: This event is intended for healthcare professionals who work with tuberculosis.

The Curry International Tuberculosis Center is designated as a Tuberculosis Center of Excellence for Training, Education, and Medical Consultation (TB COE) via a funded cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Curry International Tuberculosis Center prioritizes learners from the western region of the United States which consists of seventeen jurisdictions: Alaska, Arizona, California (including Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco), Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the U.S. Pacific Island Territories.
