University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

This 3-day Summit will be the first reproductive justice event in San Francisco. It will feature plenaries and breakout workshops that explore the historical roots of racism and their current day manifestations in the provision of sexual health services. It also will include facilitated dialogues between Black/African American community members, health care leaders, and front-line clinic staff designed to challenge current clinical practices and to envision new ways of providing sexual health care.

By centering the voices of Black/African American women and other representatives of San Francisco’s Black/African American communities, these working sessions will result in a set of actionable recommendations to improve safety-net clinic practices that are grounded in community experiences, concerns, and expertise. It is not mandatory to attend all 3 days, but it is highly recommended.

Please join us to engage in rich discussions about reproductive justice between community members and health providers to create actionable recommendations for an anti-racist, community-focused culture in reproductive health care services for all people in San Francisco.
