At the end of this presentation, learners will be able to:

  • Identify social determinants of health
  • Increase their understanding of anti-Black racism and the way in which it impacts health care
  • Challege their current conceptualization of "at risk populations" and illuminate the ways in which prior conceptualization leads to further marginalization
  • Increase their sensitivity to assessing social determinants of mental health
