Supporting Our Youth: How to Survive and Thrive

Daniel J. Siegel, MD
Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, UCLA School of Medicine
Founding Co-Director, UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center

About this series:
We know this is a difficult time for everyone, especially those of you who are serving patients. Please join us for a 9-week webinar series featuring mental health and emotional wellness experts showing how health care providers can reduce personal stress during the COVID-19 outbreak.

These webinars are held via Zoom on Thursdays from noon–1:00 p.m. Advance registration is required.

For this week, Dr. Siegel will talk about fostering growth and harmony for our youth, and how to "survive and thrive" amidst the challenges of sheltering at home. To help guide the discussion, please share questions, challenges, hopes, and any silver linings you have experienced by submitting them via email to john.mccoy@ucsf.edu.

Given the limited time we have together, we cannot guarantee a response to all questions submitted. All submissions will remain anonymous.

This webinar series is co-sponsored by the UCSF Department of Psychiatry, UCSF Office of Alumni Relations, Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, Mindsight Institute, and the John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation.
