Learning objectives:
At the end of this presentation, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the associations between maternal depression and children internalizing
  • Describe the mechanisms that elevate risk for mood disorders within parent-child dyads
  • Describe dyadic-focused therapy as an approach to treat mother-child dyads with mood disorders
