Dr. Harrison will present findings from a series of her studies, using both qualitative methods and large nationally-representative surveys, that aim to address a profound gap in our understanding of the experiences and needs of people living at home with dementia and their caregivers. She will also present the policy and ethics implications of her work.

Dr. Harrison is an interdisciplinary social scientist (public health, health policy, ethics, health services research, implementation science, aging research, hospice and palliative care) whose work focuses on improving equity in systems of care for older adults with dementia and other serious illnesses who live in home-and community-based settings.
