  • Articulate psychological barriers to depression treatment engagement and research participation cited by African American youth and families
  • Examine the practical application of theoretical approaches to community engagement
  • Describe outcomes of strategic community engagement for reducing mental health disparities
  • Articulate real-world barriers and facilitators of patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR), comparative effectiveness research (CER), and community-based participatory research (CBPR) with racially diverse populations
