What keeps women from asking for and negotiating for better professional outcomes? How can a woman skillfully manage family planning disclosures in the workplace? How can cultivating sponsorship, as opposed to mentorship, help women advance more readily in their careers?
The Women's Career Advancement Symposium was created as a direct result of UCSF female students and alumni asking OCPD for more help with these types of questions. However we recognize that everyone can benefit from learning more about negotiation strategies and how to support more equitable workplaces. Therefore everyone in the UCSF community is welcome to attend this symposium.
Join thoughtprovoking conversations with experts in health science fields to explore how women can better position themselves to negotiate and thrive in their careers. Leave with actionable career strategies that you can start using to position yourself for wherever you want to go.
Note: Dinner will be provided but registration is required. (Must register separately for each session. Click event title to be directed to registration page.)
