Town Hall Meeting on President’s Executive Order on Immigration

UCSF will host a town hall meeting to address how the University of California is responding to President Trump’s executive order restricting travel to seven Muslim-majority countries.

Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS, has issued a statement about UCSF’s response to the executive order announced on Jan. 27.

All faculty, staff, students and trainees are invited to attend the town hall and will be able to ask questions following remarks by:

  • Dan Lowenstein, MD, executive vice chancellor and provost,
  • Brian Groves, director of the UCSF International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO), and
  • Barbara French, vice chancellor for Strategic Communications and University Relations.
