  • Generate a differential diagnosis for new-onset psychosis 
  • Differentiate between screening and diagnostic testing; weigh the risks and benefits of testing in new-onset psychosis based on history, physical exam, and positive and negative predictive values of the test
  • Evaluate the emerging research on NMDA receptor encephalitis and psychosis
  • Determine the utility of gene testing for psychosis
