Identifying your Strengths and Skills

Description:

From project management to strong communication, research or analytical skills "transferrable skills" are abilities that you have developed in on position or area that have high values in another career path. In this interactive session, you'll identify and develop your list of transferable skills and we'll talk about how to use this new awareness to explore career paths that are a good fit for you.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

•Assess, identify and label your strengths and skills

•Articulate the value of this newfound information in navigating the different stages of career development: self assessment, exploring careers, applying for positions and establishing your professional identity 

•Determine next steps in your career development
