Family Fun Day at the Makers Lab

The UCSF community is invited to bring family to explore the UCSF Library's Makers Lab, a place to unleash your natural creativity. The Makers Lab is a creative, DIY space, where UCSF students, faculty, staff, and researchers can gather to make, collaborate, and tinker.

Register and stop by anytime between 11am - 3pm on Family Fun Day. Makers Lab staff will lead the following hands-on activities throughout the day and will also be available to help with your maker projects:

  • 3D print your own lithophane
  • Holiday card & decoration making
  • How do balsa wood airplanes fly?

We encourage everyone to explore and tinker during Family Fun Day, just make sure that children are accompanied by an adult at all times.
