Need help writing your resume? Wondering how to stand out as an applicant? 
OCPD's Application Materials Clinics for Health Profesions Students will give you the tools you need to succeed. Join us for an interactive workshop that will teach you how to find out what employers are looking for and how to draft your resume in a way that clearly shows them that you are their top candidate. Attendees will also have opportunities to participate in activities that will help them critique and compose a better resume.

 

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
- Recognize the most common mistakes made on resumes 
- Analyze job descriptions and identify what employers are looking for 
- Craft and tailor messages to employers that convey your most relevant strengths and skills 
- Practice organizing, formating and framing your resume to better target opportunities that you're interested in 

Please Note:
-Lunch will be provided during this session. Please be sure to register for this event in order to secure your meal

-Please bring a draft of your resume to this event. You will not be able to participate in activities without having at least a rough draft of your resume on hand

-Please bring a laptop to this session, if possible

-The workshop is limited to 20 health professions students
