Faculty Development Day

An essential guide to building and enhancing your faculty life

The Chancellor’s Council on Faculty Life (CCFL) will host Faculty Development Day on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Laurel Heights. Faculty Development Day is a one-day event offering workshops and resources to build and enhance faculty life at UCSF. We are including plenary sessions, workshops and information that are more relevant to faculty at all career stages, and we encourage all faculty to attend.

The day’s program includes morning and afternoon workshops, lunch with site and campus leaders, informational kiosks representing various campus programs, and afternoon plenary sessions. The specific agenda of the day is as follows:

8:00 – 8:45 a.m. Breakfast; welcome from Sally Marshall and Bonnie Halpern-Felsher
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Workshop Set 1
10:15 – 11:15 a.m. Workshop Set 2
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Networking lunch and Kiosks; welcome from Jeff Bluestone and Chancellor Desmond Hellmann
1:15 – 2:15 p.m. Plenary 1 – Advancement and Promotion
2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Plenary 2 – Compensation and Benefits
3:45 – 4:45 p.m. Workshop Set 3
