UCSF First Aid w/ CPR and AED

UCSF PD’s Emergency Management Division has formed a partnership with Above Bar CPR to provide First Aid, CPR and AED training to EAP, CERT, ECT, CAST and other UCSF emergency response volunteers.

The next class is scheduled for Friday, June 22nd in room 126 at MCB from 9am to 4pm.

To perform effective CPR you will need to be able to kneel at the victims side and perform chest compressions. During the class expect to be kneeling on the floor for about 2 hours. ABCpr will provide mats for your comfort. Dress in comfortable clothing that will allow you to move easily.

The class is about 7 hours long and will have two 10 min breaks and a 60 minute lunch break.

Cost of the training is $70. This is a discounted price for UCSF employees.

Class size is limited to 36 people, so sign up early to guarantee your spot.
