Description:

Dean Chou, MD, neurosurgeon of the UCSF Spine Center discusses low back pain in the UCSF Wellness Series at the JCCSF.

Many people struggle with low back pain. In fact, it is the second most common problem reported to primary care physicians. Low back pain can affect nearly every movement you make and force you to stop doing the things you love. In this seminar, Dr. Chou discusses the conditions that contribute to lower back pain, why it can be difficult to treat and several treatment options to help alleviate the pain.

The UCSF Wellness Series at the JCCSF features health care experts from UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. All events are free and open to the general public.
