| Description: | Healing Through Dance, a dance therapy support group offered by the UCSF Cancer Resource Center, is in its 13th year of serving people at various stages of treatment and recovery. Dr. Krantz will discuss her work using the art of dance for creative transformation, as patients revitalize, express, and renew confidence in their bodies to address physical, emotional and spiritual challenges of cancer. Healing is seen as a highly individualized process related to the integration of one’s deepest levels of knowing and being, intrinsic to the wisdom of the body, mind and spirit. |
